The Spotify integration enables your clients to choose song requests and allows you to export playlists directly into Spotify.
Note: Starting December 1, 2023, the Spotify integration will no longer require additional configuration and is enabled by default!
Song Requests
Your clients can submit song requests on the client portal. Each song request is organized by “playlist.” Your clients can create their own playlists, you can manually create them for your client, or you can automatically create default playlists using Event Type Defaults or automations.
Export to Spotify
From the event page in the Lumify back office, you can export playlists directly to your Spotify account. This is useful when you need to quickly create a playlist for a cocktail hour or ceremony.
Disable Song Requests
You have two options to disable song requests. If you never plan to use song request functionality and want to disable song requests for everyone, you can disable the page within the client portal:
If you want to disable song requests for some users, you can create a custom role that does not have the “View Song Requests” and “Edit Song Requests” permissions.
