Stripe and Cash App integration

The Stripe integration enables you to accept credit card payments from the client portal.

API keys

Before you get started with the Stripe integration, you must have an existing Stripe account. To sign-up for Stripe, click here.

You will need a pair of API keys to set up your Stripe integration. You can find your “publishable” and “secret” keys on your Stripe dashboard. From the dashboard, click Developers > API keys.

Configure Lumify

Once you’ve located your API keys, navigate to the Lumify Integration Gallery. From the Lumify dashboard, click on Settings > Integrations. Then, click “Enable” for the Stripe integration. And enter your “live” API keys into the dialog box:

Click Save. Congratulations! You can now accept Credit Card payments through Stripe.

Additional Options

The “Enable Cash App” option will allow your clients to make payments using the Cash App mobile application. Cash App is only available in the US.

Payments

When your client submits a payment via the client portal, the payments will automatically populate in your Lumify payments page.

Refunds

For convenience, you can refund payments directly from Lumify. Refunds also sync automatically with Stripe. Refunds will be processed immediately, but may take 3 – 5 days before your client receives their refund in their account.

Troubleshooting

  • Double-check your Stripe account is activated for production use
  • Double-check you are using “live” API keys
